Vile Gaming, known also as VG for short, was founded on the 5th of January 2005 by Spartan[nK]. Vile Gaming represents a community that is based off of the online game StarCraft. Vile Gaming promotes competition and keeping the spirit of one of the greatest Real Time Strategy games alive. In order to keep the competition and spirit of the game intact, VG offers a very interactive, community oriented website, decorated with features that cater to experienced and novice gamers alike.

Interaction on VG is encouraged through several different ways, such as tournaments, betting, information, and most importantly, the public forums. Vile Gaming also offers the unique opportunity to browse other StarCraft related editorials such as videos, artwork, comics, and screenshots. Furthermore, members are encouraged to display their own personalities in open blogs, photo galleries, and profile commenting. Lastly, in addition to the many community features, Vile Gaming also offers multiple leagues for players to compete in against other players of similar skill levels.

The continued contributions of the VG community is vital to the progress and successes of the VG staff. Proudly the members of the Vile Gaming website contribute over 1,000 forum posts, hundreds of unique comments, and hundreds of league games daily.

To this day, Vile Gaming continues to encourage its members to participate in open debates on serious and not so serious issues, artwork competitions, and of course the game of StarCraft itself.
