I figured I would just message you because I am very interested in this discussion and I do not want it being interrupted by pointless nonsense that is often found on the forums.

Do you have that bad of a life here in the U.S.? Do you have access to clean drinking water, food, and other basic living necessities? Access to a car? Do you live in fear for the safety of your families well being?

I do not get it... Besides what you claim about the country you reside in, do you deny that the U.S. is the most charitable nation in the world?

No country or nation throughout the history of mankind will probably please you. The idea of a perfect world is naive, because of the fact that no such concept have existed.

And back to the point on provided evidence, unless it's from a credible scholarly source, i will not read it, but otherwise, i'll tickle you fancy and read what you have to offer.

I never said anything about a "perfect" world. America has been generous to countries in time of crisis, sure, but what about all the atrocities?? If you want proof of that just take a gander into the history of the CIA.. you will be appalled. We are often generous to others when it benefits else in some way. This is what the 1% of the population wants. The majority of ppl will be content with the minimum. I am concerned with the growing unemployment rate, the increasing insurance premiums for less benefits, the cooperate corruption in government, the terrible foreign policy that America represents, etc. I will not praise this country because I am granted everyday necessities that the entire world should have available to them. I guess the only type of evidence that is plausible at this stage in the debate is books. So I will provide you with books that I have read that have helped (not entirely) shape my opinion on certain aspects of this discussion.

Giving you more than one at this time is asking too much of you. I have read many book on Corporate corruption and the problems invloved with U.S. Capitalism. It is hard to discuss issues of this nature with most people because as soon as you question capitalism they accuse you of being anti-american and communistic. Even though democracy and capitalism are separate. I thank you for keeping an open mind and listening to what I have to say.
