try using different renders 3d ones, ones with shading, actual people, no render at all, abstract signatures, grunge signatures, search for tutorials and DO NOT follow them exactly, do what you think looks good. that is how you find YOUR OWN style.

You know, you need to break the rules when it feels right, dont let some1 tell you what looks good and what doesnt ;)
