History of clan: Originally created by Xp-Indulgence aka xS.NycPua, Xile.Ryoji aka xS.Tenshi, Xile.T aka xS.Semantic, L]o[st_Kings aka xS.Death. [COLOR=Red]xS PPvPP Clan[/COLOR] The clan was originally founded in 09-2006.  Ryoji, Toan and Paul #2 wanted to start a clan because Xile was basically dead.  Val was planning on leaving Xp due to inactivity and disagreements with Wildchild. Toan wanted the clan to be a "Classroom" themed clan, as a sort of silly/fun idea.  He was going to be "Pencil" and others would have to pick other classroom themed names. Ryoji sarcastically said: "How about we just make a tag like every other million clans." Nycpua jokingly said "xS?" Toan> "But what does that stand for?" Nycpua> "We'll figure it out..." The clan was meant to be a PPvPP only clan.  The founders all believed that PPvPP hadn't reached its full potential in the FPM community and knew that with constant innys, trying out strategies and criticism/feedback they'd be able to improve their already excellent game. Originally, new applicants were screened by several factors: Activity, Loyalty, PPvPP skill, manners, willingness to learn, ability to take criticism. (Last one is key, and a reason countless great players have been rejected to date). Trapstar and Hasu were soon after recruited, after which xS.Qaa, xS.Templar and xS.mNevis previously clan mates with NycPua from Xp- joined up.  Toan soon left due to school and being goth.  Death soon left because of disagreements with NycPua. [COLOR=red]xS Evolves:[/COLOR] Hasu urged for the clan to be composed of both 1v1 and 2v2 skill. A very pivotal time for xS, since this was when the floodgate for new players was opened and the method that we use to this day for recruiting and training was created.  Previously, only proven 2v2 players that met all of the above criteria above were accepted after days or sometimes weeks of consideration.  Hasu suggested the recruitment of gM.Samba to begin this process. Since then, the clan has recruited based on need.  Either the need for more 1v1 or 2v2 players.  Samba/Qaa have been in charge of the 1v1 section of the clan.  They recruit almost entirely on their own the 1v1 players they want and the rest of the clan votes based on who they recommend.  After the new player is recruited, its mandatory he learns PPvPP from the older players of the clan since the clan wants every player to be able to fill in any position.  Those players who refuse to inhouse or learn usually get kicked or leave. Ryoji/NycPua usually recruit the 2v2 players, but thats almost entirely done with.  Much easier to recruit skilled 1v1 players or RRvRR players and teach them how to become great PPvPP players.  IE: Bam, Requiem, Zell, Azazel, Axis, Beef, Hasu (haha @ the last 2) [COLOR=Red]New Age:[/COLOR] Anyway.  Thats the first part of the clan history, as early as I can remember it.  The clan died for a few months at about its 1 year mark.  I will later write a history for those months and the xS part 2.  Or someone else can write it and I'll edit the first post. :) We screen recruits on a little bit of a different process now.  And despite saying "invite only" in our description, thats not really the case.  We've had plenty of players approach us first and then we decide.  Not that I'm encouraging anyone to approach us to join since this usually results in a ban.  IE: Nour, chelsea Also, one of the new requirements for joining has been a STD test, to be faxed to one of the 4 leaders upon successful completion.  And a short essay on why you want to join xS (minimum 5 pages), preferably red crayon but blue works too.  To be mailed to one of the 4 leaders, except Samba who can't read, within a week of successful completion of the STD test.
