So I want to set up a stream for SC2 but I'm having a bit of a problem.  No sound plays on my stream, I can talk with my mic but you can't hear my computer sound on the stream.

I know the problem, I don't have a sound card.  But I do have a headset plugged in through USB port.  I need to figure out how to make my stream program ( xsplit ) use that as what it uses to play sounds but I have no idea how to go about doing it and I haven't had any luck googling.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your MB will have a sound card integrated on it XD
This being said, I have never streamed before, but it's probably fixed by a setting in the program.

My MB is a ASUS Rampage Forumla, it comes with a soundcard and no onboard sound.  But the soundcard stopped working.

you should use a program to do the broadcast.  i think SAM can handle 2 inputs at once (being your mic and computer)

What is SAM? I use Xsplit to stream.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with any of this.

I googled SAM and it says it's for radio, how would I use it to stream my video with xsplit and then SAM for the sound on the same stream of justin.tv ?

When you go to "Tools" --> "Settings" --> "General"

1.) Under the "Interaction" section what do you have checked?

2.) What do you have selected for audio?

You say you can hear yourself talking through the mic but not the computer sounds?

Apparently there is problems with Xsplit and XP and to fix it you have to use VAC and set up a stereo mix, but I don't have a stereo mix option because I don't have a soundcard :P

But i have enable virtual output checked.

Can u have music on and ur viewers can hear it? I use my usb for mic and music, cus my sound input on the back on my computer doesnt work :> But i didnt have to change any settings in my xsplit, i just select the output in the options =o

You don't have XP do you? I heard there's some problems with XP so that's probably what it is.
