I.  Coincidence Sparks Friendship - April 2007

Pro]ChoseN- (at the time MK_Chosen13) is working at a restaurant called Olive Garden in Omaha, Nebraska and is asked by a fellow employee "Hey do you play any games?" Chosen replies "Not really, just started playing around with this game called Starcraft last month, it's pretty cool."

Pro]Butterfly-'s (at the time Anubis.1.2) sister hears Chosen say this and tells Chosen that he has to meet her brother cuz he has been playing Starcraft for like 6 years and that he still plays it.

Chosen and Butterfly meet at work and laugh about the fact that they both actively play Starcraft on the same server and they happened to meet in real life. They start hanging out, going out drinking together, working out together etc etc and eventually become best friends.

Chosen quits at Olive Garden about a week later to become a Personal Trainer at a gym called 24 Hour Fitness. He only worked at Olive Garden for about a month and would have never met Pro]Butterfly- if it weren't for being asked that question at work and Butterfly's sister over-hearing it.

Chosen ends up hating working at 24 Hour Fitness and moves 12 hours away to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to be home with his Parents to save up money and get everything in order again. Chosen and Butterfly are now both in the same clan, MK13 on West. They loosely keep in touch talking about once a week or so usually on battle.net.


II.  GOM TV Provides An Idea - April 2008

While living with his parents for 6 months Chosen now has a lot of free time and gets pretty into Starcraft playing it on a daily basis. He comes across some English commentary of Professional Starcraft games and shows it to Butterfly. They both think it is pretty cool that the Proleague is now acknowledging to cast their games in English. Chosen and Butterfly throw ideas around about doing videos of their own and plans for doing big things in Starcraft 2 but they live too far away from each other to really do anything about it.

After being at home for 6 months Chosen is ready to move out cuz he has plenty of money saved up and Butterfly says he'll see if anyone is looking for a roommate in Omaha, Nebraska. Chosen has a friend in Dallas, Texas who offers him to move their with him and Chosen accepts since he doesn't really have a better option. This means his SC days will be pretty much over as he'll be starting a new life in Texas.

The day before Chosen is going to leave for Texas, Butterfly calls him and tells him he can come to Omaha cuz he found a friend who is looking for a roommate. Chosen would rather go to Omaha than Dallas so he accepts and now Chosen and Butterfly get serious about their plans on doing big things in Starcraft 2.


III.  A Team Is Born - June 3rd, 2008

During the 12 hour drive from Wisconsin to Nebraska Chosen calls Butterfly cuz he's bored and they talk about running a clan/team for SC2 and decide to make an SC clan since SC2 is not out yet.

They throw around ideas for a clan tag / name and they come up with the idea to have P-R-O stand for something like Perfect Respectable Ownage or something but just decide to be the Pro]fessionals.


IV.  Two Big Additions Give Pro] a Good Start - June 2008

Gau[FF] is a friend of Butterfly's in real life and Chosen is now living with Gau[FF]'s brother so Chosen and Gau[FF] quickly become friends. Gau[FF] is by far the best Starcraft player of the 3 friends and decides he wants to be a part of creating Pro] with Chosen and Butterfly.

TiaMaT[FF] is Gau's close friend in [FF] and Gau asks TiaMaT to come with him to Pro]. TiaMaT thinks about it for a while and decides he will join but only if they are serious about making Pro] a top clan in league. After Chosen, Butterfly, and Gau agree... TiaMaT[FF] and Gau[FF] join the team as Pro]HaRDy- and Pro]Victor- (Pro]Victor- later changes to Pro]LinGau- cuz he was sick of everyone thinking his name is Victor... he meant Victor, as in the person who achieves victory not that his name is Victor lmao)


V.  Pro]HaRDy- Carries Pro] - July 2008 to January 2009

Pro]HaRDy- gets very active and begins to prove himself as one of the best in Fastest competition. He is all over the top of all SCD and VGT ladders putting Pro] on the map as a premier team. Pro]HaRDy- and Pro]LinGau- quickly become one of the top 2v2 teams in league competition and they both finish in the top 7 of VGT:2v2 on SC and BW 3 seasons in a row.


VI.  Turmoil Amongst Friends Breaks Up Pro] - February 2009

Pro]ChoseN- and Pro]HaRDy- begin to argue about who is joining / wasn't allowed to join the team. Lots of veteran members in Pro] begin to get irritated that 2 of the best players in Pro] will only pay attention to each other and will only play with each other and no one else (Pro]HaRDy- and Pro]LinGau-). Veteran members start to talk about leaving. ChoseN does not want to kick his good friends so he decides he is done with Pro] and leaves his Leader position to pursue other options.

Pro]HaRDy- and Pro]LinGau- decide not to continue leading Pro] without Pro]ChoseN- and they also leave Pro] to join xS.  as xS.HaRDy- and xS.NuiSanCe.

After a week ChoseN realizes he acted too impulsively and comes back to Pro] but the damage is already done. Many members left the team when ChoseN, LinGau and HaRDy left because they figured Pro] would now be dead. LinGau and HaRDy stay in xS.  even though ChoseN returns to Pro].


VII.  New Beginnings - February/March 2009

Pro]ChoseN- and Pro]SuDoX- decide they will re-build Pro] and do their best to return it back to being a great league team. Using the remaining core of loyal members (Pro]Marine- , Pro]GreSsiVe- , Pro]ToKeR-) they being to add members and re-build Pro].

Pro]Butterfly- had been playing low money ever since Pro] was created and now begins to get slightly active on Fastest.


VIII.  Return to Prominence - April 2009

After adding some great recruits like Pro]Knives- aka La.Avenger and Pro]SexyMuve- aka Muve[XgK] Pro] now begins to have a solid core of talent and is back to obtaining top spots in League competition again.

Chosen apologizes to LinGau and HaRDy about what happened and tells them both that he would like to be teammates with both of them again since he realizes he was wrong to act so boldly and leave like that.

xS.NuiSanCe returns to Pro] as Pro]LinGau- but xS.HaRDy decides to stay in xS.  for the time being.


IX.  Pro] Becomes Stronger Than Ever - May 2009

VGT Legend Pro]SiN- aka MaFia.SiN / S)i(N[VcK] teams up with Pro] making Pro] possibly the premier team in FMP competition.

Pro]Marine- (aka Super]Marine), Pro]SiN-, Pro]Knives- (aka La.Avenger), Pro]ToXic- (aka Dt.m3mO / Pro]GreSsiVe-), Pro]SexyMuve- (aka Muve[XgK]), Pro]SolinE- (aka G)A-SolinE / SolinE[zT] and Pro]DefJam- (aka DeathheaveN) make up one of the most feared and overall skilled 1v1 line-ups in Fastest.

Pro]LinGau- returns to dominating VGT 2v2 competition and Pro]n1- also floats around the top 5 of 2v2:SC with Pro]LooNg- aka Pro]Design- obtaining the #1 spot in 2v2:BW making Pro] one of the most overall skilled teams in 1v1 and 2v2 on both SC and BW.


X.  Drama takes Pro] to the brink- August - November 2009

While Pro] was one of the best collections of talent ever seen in FMP with SiN, Marine and other heavy hitters the team was lacking chemistry. Pro]HaRDy- returning to Pro] sparked some drama between SiN, Marine, and HaRDy. SiN decided to leave the team. Marine stayed for a bit but ended up leaving a couple months later after he and HaRDy got into a small fight.

With Pro]Butterfly- mainly playing low money, Pro]LinGau- being married and very in-active, Pro]ChoseN- becoming very in-active because of a girl and moving, Pro]SiN- and Pro]Marine- leaving because of inter-clan complications, Pro] was tested more than ever, and on the brink of dying.


XI.  Pro]HaRDy- carries Pro]... again- November - December 2009

Pro]HaRDy- begins to play better than ever. Claiming top 3 spots in both 1v1 and 2v2 consistently throughout any season he participates in. Pro] merges with clan tG.  bringing more leadership, higher activity, and a higher average skill level to Pro].


XII.  Back on top- February 2010

With the solid core of Pro]ChoseN-, Pro]HaRDy-, and Pro]Brian- being very active Pro] lands some very solid recruits and once again solidifies their 1v1 line-up. ChoseN- starts his new job and can be very active again running the team and making videos after taking a 5 week break because of computer problems. Pro] wins the Clan Standings in VGT:SC in VGT 25 and it seems that Pro] will be a dominant force well into the future.
