I been playing alot of 1s lately and these seem to be my main problems. 1st my Marine vs Zealot early game micro. i need serious help on this. idk how to micro my rines. ive asked for help in cristal but people just say "micro them". HOW do u micro them? do u send them behind rax to confuse lots? do u send a few rines in differenet directions to have lots follow? or what.
2nd. my apm. i know alot of people say apm doesnt mean anything, but in my case i think it does. my toss apm is like 120-130 and thats me giving it everything i have. idk what everyone is doing so much i watch reps of really good people and i dont see why there apm is so high, idk if there just moving alot of units or what,maybe i get confused alot and i dont keep building + pumping at the same time. any suggestions? another quick question, when u select groups do u shift + click or just double left click? A few weeks ago someone replied to one of my help threads and said they would help work with me on some stuff but i cant find the post, i belive it was Pro Chosen. separate your marines into groups have one group lead the zlots to your other marines, while they are shooting, then move that group away, and have your other group shoot. etc.
Your apm is fine. 120 is not that bad.  If you have a problem with your VGT game, file a complaint |

i double click units to get groups, only time i shift click is on zerg larva and mass zerg units at my base

ooo yea i work on my marine micro alot am trying to master it u can allways use the micro with bats n marines would help more.

that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Zealots are melee units, so they work best when surrounding in a group, which means if the marines split and then the toss player micros, your gonna have 2 small groups of marines vs 2 small groups of zealots, and the zealot are going to fucking destroy them. Well i got great tvp micro.. depends on how many zealots he sends like 2 zealots and u got like 4-5 rines and more making once a rine is hurt micro that behind others then micro the others and keep making and pumping then by then u should be gettgin accademy so u just got to micro and like xAeneaSx said after u surivied the first 2-3 zealots if he/she goes right to u then seperate ur marines and micro groups

If you split the rines, you wont get an effective micro. The units will waste time moving while the zealot micro will designate the attacking rines. Big waste don't you think? Best way to deal with rine vs lot micro is to keep them packed, then put the rine that's being attacked behind the rest. You wont lose a single unit.

ur apm is fine. That's what mine is at and i'd say i'm pretty good :P
1 group attack + 1 run is best marine micro. I shift select rarely. I use click and drag a lot. I am able to do this very fast and am confident in my ability to do so. Find something that works for u, but shift select and double clicking can give u units uve already selected or units that are too far away and u dont want to move. Roses are red, violets are blue, i wanna fuck you with a rake!  |
