That's tru, what Seph said.. once Zerg get's into ur Base, and has a fairly wide space.. it's practically over, unless u have a huge flank ready.

Basically get some guardians, like 12 and send them from opposite sides, splitting them all and attack the choke
Than go Zergling / Ultra / Hydra with Defiler for Swarm...

If he stormed Lings / Ultra hes going to hit his own units as well and the guards are to take out any kind of Choke
or Reavers he may have..
and If he has an arbiter try to bring in like 6 scourge and take it out...

But of course this will take awhile and you must pump Mad hardcore

25 sunken +10 spore + 6-7 lurker ( spread them all arround ur main ) + 5-6 guard
then just mass :)

No don't target temps.... LEARN TO DEFEND SHUTTLES! FOCUS FIRE SHUTTLES WITH HYDRAS ON SIDE!Always expect early drop in ZvP.... unless u have ovie in there base and see otherwise... But like i said u should get 3 hatches gas then get den and 2 evo's then 2 morwe hatches start pumping drones / hydras when den is done get range upgrade for dras first... then speed. Make sure u hotkey ur hydras and put them on side where drop usually comes from... and ake sure u use ovies to put further out so u see the drop coming sooner ... more time to focus fire it.

If he's going mass Temps he'll never be able to break your sunks cuz Temps do 0 damgae to sunks. just mass sunk whore, muta hunt his main (make him temp his own money to stop your mutas), then go ling/ultra/guard. Hydras get roflpwnt by mass storm :(

What is a good counter to someone that goes mass temps? I'm not talking about drops. I can hold off toss fairly well in terms of dodging drops and getting to mid game where I have guards and can pump. My problem is dealing with mass temps. If I go mass guards, 6-8 temps take out my entire army and that's 4k+ gas down the drain. If I got ground, same thing, storm just wipes out my army. Cloud does nothing for me either. Any ideas?


Use Cloud with Ultralisks and Zerglings. Guardians/Darkswarm are counter productive as units can run right under them and your guardians become useless. Don't waste all your zerglings in your first wave, get the group of ultralisks engaged under swarm and keep sending lings in small enough groups to avoid losing mass amounts to swarm but large enough to deal some damage.

Ensnare is so godly, people refuse to accept its brilliance!

Also, ALWAYS research Plague, whether you're using Defiler actively or not. You'll more than likely end up wanting it. Plague ruins everything, and also reveals any cloaked units, so GG Arbiters usefulness~
(Ensnare does some thing as well.)

And I just thought... if Parasiting a unit lets you see what it sees, would Parasiting the arbiter reveal the cloaked units underneath?

Most of these responses seemed fairly useless to me, the queen idea from bestoface was the only thing that might even work in my opinion, another thing you can do is muta bomb the main, keep the mutas over his minerals so when he storms he hits his probes and destroys them all, and also move mutas around so 1-2 storms doesnt wipe out 40 or more mutas, it will probably take you 1-3 muta bombs on his main before you take it, (which is a hella lot of gas but in long games worth it) just depending on how good he is, and how many cannons you have to fly through to get to his nexus.
also You can keep mutas over gas, after you have him kill all his probes on crystal, so he storms and kills probes on gas ( this is a serious pain in the ass for him to recover) it should be noted that in long games where he has likely saved up multiple thousands of crystals and gas, he might just build an army of 200 psi and attack you with a massive force, so be prepared for that possibility.

dude complicate that more.

just mass sunks at the choke, then when he attacks, send your lings, oves, hydras and guards, all at that area, usually your mass will win. It will always hold, no matter what he has, then keep pumping hydras and lings till u get in and beat him.

Another strat you can use, is hide your units in a separate area. When he attacks you, send like 50 units to his base. That usually works , counter him, the sunks and units will always hold it's own if at 140ish or more. As long as you can get to a toss before he holds his choke, you'll win.
