League: VGT:BW Ladder: 1v1 Accusation: Hacker Accused player: Magicpot[FF] This bundle of replays and screenshots is meant to show that MagicPot[FF] has been maphacking on a consistent basis. DarkSeph[FF] and I, Nanaki[FF], have thoroughly reviewed his replays and found a consistent pattern of suspicious actions. Outlined below is all the proof that we have gathered that we believe shows that he has been hacking. First off, Magic Pot's scouting methods in these replays are extremely suspicious. If the enemy is directly next to him, he will purposely scout the wrong direction with his first scout (usually an SCV.). If the enemy is two or more spaces away, he will scout the correct direction with his first scout. The only exception to this rule is if the enemy is choking quickly right next to him and he feels he can break the choke, he will scout the correct direction immediately. Secondly, we believe that he has made up a fake story surrounding his Magic_Pot[FF] account. DarkSeph[FF] has almost all of the [FF] accounts password registered to his e-mail. MagicPot claims his password was stolen, but when DarkSeph went to recover the password, Battle.Net did not respond. This generally means that the account was closed by Warden, Battle.Net's cheat prevention system. Third, the whole fiasco surrounding Wiseman's Anti-hack map, although proven to be a flaky map, shows just another aspect of suspicion regarding MagicPot. The fact that he clearly dropped at the same point in all three games is something of value, whether conclusive or not. Fourth, attached below are Screenshots and replays, with short text explanations of all the suspicious play he has incurred since 01/31/2010. Lastly, MagicPot[FF] has been banned from FF on March 03, 2010 for hacking. Replay name: Magicshat4 matchup: ZvP http://vgcache.com/replays/3218 a ZvP where I was the protoss mid building, he 8/9 spawning pooled when i mid built to stop the mid build. He idles to 100+ minerals at one point looking like hes afk or watching what I'm doing. At the point where i snuck my second probe into his base he was busy fighting off cannons and zealots and there was a VGT fog of war map glitch in that spot he literally had less than .5 seconds to see the probe get in and even if he had seen it he had no vision of which way it went into his base. The probe i snuck in was able to make 3 cannons and just before they finished building magicpot sends 5 zerglings with an attack command at them with no vision of the cannons.  Shows his suspicious overlord scouting, straight to enemy base.  Same game: MagicPot clearly has no vision of cannon rush coming at bottom of his base.  Same game: MagicPot sends lings blindly and kills the cannon rush before it is completed. replay name: magichack1 matchup: ZvT http://vgcache.com/replays/3213 this is basically showing his zerg patterns with scouting with overlord and how he fast gasses when its zvt. replay name: magichack2 matchup: ZvP http://vgcache.com/replays/3214 showing his over lord scouting. He looks idle a lot during the game like hes possibly watching other player. He gets very late gas and hydra den unlike when he zvt's, he didnt have a den up till orange was making drop tech at which point he also sunkened up his main. Replay name: Magichack3 matchup: PvZ http://vgcache.com/replays/3215 This is his protoss mid build scouting patterns. He scouts normally in this replay scouting the middle spots. In this replay his first scout did not even go deep enough in to the base to see if the enemy was there, he apparently didnt notice? Replay name: Magichack4 matchup: PvZ[b] http://vgcache.com/replays/3216 Protoss mid build, scouting patterns. He this time scouts a mid base but then goes directly to the corner base that orange is in instead of scouting a mid spot again. Again with his first scout he did not go deep enough in to even see if a base was there. [b]Replay name Magichakk matchup: ZvT http://vgcache.com/replays/3217 his overlord scouting patterns he safe scouts staying near space at all times rather than going into the middle like he does zvp. Fast gas this game unlike his zvp's. TvP matchups: These replays have plenty of suspicious things in them too but they are mostly to show you his pattern with terran. When it is TvP he will everytime without fail, go 2 barracks gas academy without scouting or being scouted.  This screenshot shows his general TvP strategy that he implements before scouting. He almost always builds an academy around the two minute mark, before scouting his opponent. Replay name: magichack http://vgcache.com/replays/3210 (also in this replay he places the supply depot to the left of the gas beind his main where he has not put a depot in any other game ive seen him play and its funny that creepy just happens to be cannon rushing him there.) He rather than going 2 rax academy like he does TvP will go 2 rax gas NO academy straight to two factories without scouting or being scouted every time.  This screenshot shows his general TvZ strategy that he implements before scouting. He already has built two factories in the middle of the map (Before seeing his opponent is Zerg), and JUST started his academy at 4:23. He does this strategy nearly every TvZ, before scouting his opponent.  As you can see, he's had two factories building in the middle of the map long before finding out the enemy is zerg. If this is proof of hacks then anyone can compile reps of anyone that support a pattern that they see fit and anyone with any type of pattern could be flagged. These reps support the claim but im sure there are replays that dont. |
