They face each other, just meters apart
Blades drawn, shields powered, faces set in stone
Watching, waiting for the other to start
Bodies tense, from smooth skin through rigid bone.
With a lightning lunge, one of them stirs
Surging forward with a flurry of blows
Each expertly evaded; blue blades blur
Each warrior dancing death with his foe.
Suddenly a slash slips past a guard
A shield shrieks, desperately trying to save
A final thrust flies through, straight and hard
Blue flames erupt, a soul is lit ablaze!
A Zealot has done his duty today
The other sheaths his blades and walks away.
