I sit here on my bedroom floor,
I watch the clock tick by.
The Sun melts down upon the wall
As the minutes pass me by.
When will daddy be coming home?
He’s fought so very long.
I often wonder to myself
If my daddy’s left and gone.
But there never comes someone to knock on the door,
The Confederacy tries
To leave us all in wonder and doubt
As it smothers us with lies!
I hear that we are losing fast,
There are monsters everywhere.
My mother calls them “Zerg”, and yet,
I doubt we even care.
This war has lost all meaning
As the battle rages on.
A thousand Terran deaths today,
Their memories long gone.
I wonder if our race will win,
And if they’ll tell us then.
For where creatures lurk, my daddy fights
Until the bitter end.
I sit here on my bedroom floor,
I watch the clock tick by.
The Sun melts down upon the wall
As the minutes pass me by.
When will daddy be coming home?
He’s fought so very long.
I often wonder to myself
